This compact 1/2" mini air vent is designed for drip irrigation, micro-sprinkler, and other low-volume irrigation systems. It automatically expels trapped air during startup so water fills the lines completely, and opens when the system shuts off to admit air and break vacuum - preventing siphoning that can suck dirt and debris back into emitters and micro-sprinklers.

Installation
Install at high points on drip laterals and at the end of drip lines where air collects. Also useful at the head of each drip zone to purge air before it reaches emitters.
