This is a reducing coupler that joins two pipes of different sizes in a straight line made from Schedule 40 PVC. Use reducing couplers to transition between pipe sizes without separate reducer fittings. PVC construction provides excellent corrosion resistance against water, fertilizers, and agricultural chemicals, and will not rust, pit, or scale.
