RKARVC-300 – 3" Aluminum Continuous Air Release & Vacuum Relief Vent

The RKARVC-300 is a 3" triple-action aluminum air vent built for larger commercial irrigation mainlines where both high-volume air evacuation and continuous air release are needed. In addition to expelling trapped air during startup and admitting air during shutdown, it provides continuous air release during normal system operation — automatically venting the small air pockets that accumulate at high points while the system is pressurized.

Simple vs. Continuous Air Vents

Simple-action air vents only operate during startup (air expulsion) and shutdown (vacuum relief). Continuous air vents add a third function: they release small air bubbles that dissolve out of water and collect at high points during normal operation. On larger mainlines, accumulated air can significantly reduce flow capacity and cause pressure fluctuations — a continuous air vent solves these problems.
