Manual Move Irrigation Made Simple

The RainSpike™ Sprinkler Stand is a simple, portable solution for hand-move field irrigation. Designed to work with poly tubing, it allows you to irrigate row crops, pastures, and garden plots without trenching, dragging pipe, or using complex fittings. Similar in concept to hand-line systems, it gives you full control over sprinkler placement and spacing—ideal for farms that value flexibility and ease of use.

How It Works

1. Punch the lateral tubing: Use an 8mm punch tool to create a hole in your poly tubing at each location where a sprinkler is needed.
2. Insert the connector: Insert the female side of the 10mm barb connector (attached to the RainSpike) into the hole you punched. The male barb is pre-installed on the RainSpike tubing.
3. Stake it securely: Push the metal spike into the ground at least 1 foot deep. In loose or sandy soil, deeper placement is recommended for stability.
4. Set spacing based on sprinkler radius: For example, if your sprinkler has a 40-foot radius, place RainSpike stands 40 feet apart to achieve head-to-head coverage.
5. Water, then move: After a watering cycle, pick up each RainSpike and reinsert it at the next position in your field or pasture.

Design and Layout Tips

• Use a central poly mainline with one or two lateral rows for sprinklers.
• Space each RainSpike based on the sprinkler radius (e.g., every 40 feet).
• Move lateral rows by hand after each watering session.
