The RainSpike Sprinkler Kit is a complete, portable irrigation system built for ease, flexibility, and efficient water delivery in pastures, row crops, gardens, and temporary plots. With everything included—from mainline tubing to sprinklers and tools—this kit is designed for fast setup, reliable performance, and manual repositioning using the proven RainSpike method.
No trenching, no complicated fittings—just punch, plug, connect, and irrigate.
What's Included in the Kit
- 1" Polyethylene Hose – 250 ft: Serves as the mainline. Durable and UV-resistant for long-lasting outdoor use.
- 3/4" Polyethylene Hose – 500 ft: Used as lateral lines to distribute water to sprinkler rows.
- 21 RainSpike Sprinkler Stands: Each includes tubing, a 10mm barb connector, and galvanized metal stake.
- 21 RK-26 Sprinkler Heads: Dependable 1/2" plastic part circle sprinkler, 2-3GPM.
- Permaloc Tees – 7 units: Used to split the mainline into four lateral rows.
- Permaloc Valves – 7 units: Used to zone off mainline.
- 8mm Punch Tool: Used to create precise holes in the lateral poly tubing for inserting the RainSpike barbed connectors.
- Poly Tubing Cutter: Provides clean, square cuts for quick and accurate hose assembly.
How It Works
- Lay out the 1" poly mainline across your field or pasture.
- Connect the 3/4" lateral hoses to the mainline using the Permaloc tees.
- Use the 8mm punch tool to create holes in each lateral where sprinklers will be placed.
- Add Starter connection to 1" mainline and 3/4" valve to start each lateral row, you will need a small section of tubing off each tee before the 3/4" valve
- Add end plugs to main line and lateral lines after flushing
- Insert the RainSpike connectors into the punched holes—no clamps or glue needed.
- Place each RainSpike with Sprinkler head. Put in ground at least 1 foot deep. Space them based on sprinkler radius (e.g., 40 ft apart for head-to-head coverage).
- After watering, turn off zone and turn on next zone before restarting watering.
