3" ductile iron resilient wedge gate valve with rising stem, flanged connections, and handwheel. The rising stem provides visual indication of valve position - when the stem is extended, the valve is open. EPDM-covered ductile iron wedge for debris-resistant sealing. Epoxy coated body. AWWA C515 compliant.

On a standard gate valve with only a metal seal there needs to be a impression for the gate to seat to and make a seal. This impression can get dirt, pebbles, sand or other debris trapped in it, eventually losing its ability to seal 100%. The advantage our resilient seated gate valve has is that the opening in the valve is completely smooth, preventing debris from getting stuck. Even with some impurities the rubber surface will be able to conform and seal.
