This is a short threaded pipe nipple with male threads on both ends made from Schedule 40 PVC. Use nipples to connect two female-threaded fittings or extend a threaded connection. PVC construction provides excellent corrosion resistance against water, fertilizers, and agricultural chemicals, and will not rust, pit, or scale.
