This is an insert adapter that connects barbed poly tubing to threaded or spigot PVC pipe made from Schedule 40 PVC. Use insert adapters to transition from rigid PVC piping to flexible poly tubing in irrigation systems. PVC construction provides excellent corrosion resistance against water, fertilizers, and agricultural chemicals, and will not rust, pit, or scale.
