484-PP-34 – 3/4" Mazzei® Venturi Fertilizer Injector, 1.2–5.8 GPM

Mazzei® venturi injectors are differential pressure injectors with internal mixing vanes. The patented design and precision construction maximizes injector efficiency, suction capacity, and mixing capabilities. With no moving parts, maintenance is simplified and operating costs are significantly lower than pump-based injection systems.

Key Features & Benefits

  • No moving parts — nothing to wear out, rebuild, or maintain; exceptional long-term reliability
  • No electrical connections required — operates purely on water pressure differential; install anywhere without power access
  • Runs dry safely — no damage if the chemical supply runs out during operation
  • Chemical resistant polypropylene — highly resistant to most acids, alkalis, and fertigation solutions
  • Internal mixing vanes — create thorough mixing of injected chemicals into the water stream for uniform distribution
  • Safe operation — chemicals are injected under vacuum, not pressure, reducing risk of chemical spills

How a Mazzei Venturi Injector Works

When pressurized water enters the injector inlet, it is constricted toward the injection chamber and changes into a high-velocity jet stream. The increase in velocity through the injection chamber results in a decrease in absolute pressure, creating a vacuum that draws a liquid or gas additive through the suction port and mixes it thoroughly into the water stream. As the jet stream is diffused toward the injector outlet, its velocity is reduced and resumes its flow in a thoroughly mixed state.
