8-gallon (30-liter) HDPE fertilizer tank injector system — a quantitative fertigation system that delivers a specific amount of fertilizer per application. Unlike proportional venturi injectors, the tank system works by water displacement: fill the tank with fertilizer, and as water flows through, it displaces the fertilizer into your irrigation flow. No minimum GPM required. Simple, reliable, and effective for delivering precise fertilizer quantities to each zone.

RKFTANK30 – Fertilizer Tank Injector System, 8 Gallons (30 Liters)

The fertilizer tank injector is a simple but effective quantitative fertigation system. It can be installed inline or on a bypass valve to control the rate of fertilizer delivery. Unlike venturi injectors which are proportional (injecting a ratio of fertilizer to water), the tank system delivers a specific quantity of fertilizer per application — however much you put in the tank.

How to Use

  1. Unscrew the cap and fill with the desired amount of fertilizer
  2. Start the irrigation system — the air vent on top bleeds out air, allowing the tank to fill with water
  3. Water displaces the fertilizer, pushing it into your irrigation flow

Recommended 3-Step Application

  1. Step 1: Run water only for a few minutes to pressurize the system and check for leaks
  2. Step 2: Open the tank valve to begin fertilizer injection
  3. Step 3: After the tank empties (water runs clear), continue watering for several minutes to flush fertilizer through the entire system

Key Features & Benefits

  • Quantitative injection — delivers a specific amount of fertilizer, not a ratio; you control exactly how much goes to each zone
  • No minimum GPM — works on any flow rate, including very low-flow systems
  • HDPE construction — chemical resistant tank material handles fertilizers and mild acids
  • Simple operation — no moving parts, no electrical connections, no complex calibration
  • Inline or bypass installation — install directly in the mainline or on a bypass loop with a valve to control injection rate
