6" ductile iron resilient wedge gate valve with non-rising stem (NRS), flanged connections, and handwheel. The EPDM-covered ductile iron wedge provides positive seating and resists high differential pressure - debris that would damage a metal-seated valve simply compresses into the rubber and seals. Epoxy coated body. AWWA C515 compliant.

On a standard gate valve with only a metal seal there needs to be a impression for the gate to seat to and make a seal. This impression can get dirt, pebbles, sand or other debris trapped in it, eventually losing its ability to seal 100%. The advantage our resilient seated gate valve has is that the opening in the valve is completely smooth, preventing debris from getting stuck. Even with some impurities the rubber surface will be able to conform and seal.
