This 39" galvanized steel sprinkler riser has 1" male pipe thread on both the top and bottom ends. The male-male configuration is designed for use with 1" FNPT sprinkler heads (like the RK-41F), or for riser installations where both connections need to thread into female fittings. Use with a Zamac plug (RK11500-3) to cap the top when no sprinkler is installed.
