This is a reducer bushing that fits inside a larger fitting to accept a smaller pipe or thread made from Schedule 80 PVC. Use reducer bushings to adapt an existing fitting to a smaller size without replacing the fitting. PVC construction provides excellent corrosion resistance against water, fertilizers, and agricultural chemicals, and will not rust, pit, or scale.
