RKQPV-1 - 1" Plastic Quick Coupling Valve - Twist Type

This 1" plastic quick coupling valve provides a sealed, below-grade or surface-mounted connection point in your irrigation mainline. When a matching twist-type quick coupling key (RKQPK-1) is inserted, the valve opens and water flows to the connected sprinkler riser or hose. When the key is removed, a spring-loaded seal closes automatically to prevent leaks and contamination.

How Quick Coupling Systems Work

Quick coupling valves are permanently installed at intervals along the irrigation mainline (typically on tees or risers). A rubber cover cap protects the valve when not in use. To irrigate, push the matching key into the valve body - the quarter-turn twist to lock and water flows. Attach a sprinkler or hose to the key's outlet. When finished, remove the key and the valve seals itself. This allows portable sprinklers to be moved between valve locations without digging, threading, or tools.

Compatibility

Important: This twist-type valve requires a matching twist-type quick coupling key (RKQPK-1). Twist-type valves and keys are not interchangeable with hook-type components.
